Evelyn Yvonne Padgett

Miss Evelyn Yvonne Padgett, age 75 of Muscadine, Alabama, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021. She was born in Villa Rica, Georgia on September 8, 1945, the daughter of the late Mr. Melvin Lee Padgett and the late Mrs. Mattie Lou Smith Padgett. She worked for an insurance company in Atlanta and developed film and other assorted jobs for the Times Courier newspaper in Ellijay. Miss Padgett was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church. In addition to her parents, Miss Padgett is preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Floyd Padgett, Melvin Lee Padgett, Jr., James Louis Padgett, Harvey Lee Padgett and Joseph Harold Padgett; and her sisters, Florene Beatrice Padgett and Rebecca Ruth Padgett. She is survived by her sister, Rachael Louise Padgett of Douglasville; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Villa Rica, Friday, July 30, 2021 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. Graveside service will be conducted at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia, Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:30AM.
