Faye Moore

Hesta FAYE Moore, 85, loving wife of Ray Moore, formerly of Fayetteville, NC died March 28, 2017 at her home in the Douglasville GA Benton House Senior Community. She was born June 21 1931 in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Faye enjoyed a long career in administration with the Fayetteville MetLife Insurance Agency before retiring to enjoy her passions of gardening, taking care of pets, helping family, friends, and neighbors. Faye was an active member of St. Andrews Methodist Church and faithfully served many years as area Treasurer of the United Methodist Women. Faye was a devoted wife to Ray for nearly 64 years, committed mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and shepherd to many loved ones through the years.Faye is survived by her husband, Ray Moore, only-son, Ed Moore and daughter-in-law, Gail; remaining siblings, Glenda McLean Clark, Mila McLean Hardin (Forest), Elizabeth McLean Stevenson, Cecil McLean, Ronald McLean (Camille), Cathy McLean McDowell, Alan (Anna) McLean and Sharon McLean Allan (Steve). Faye was also loved by and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Faye leaves a wonderful legacy of loyalty, service and love to all that knew her.
