Fern Chase Gentes

Fern Chase Gentes, 90, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.  She was born on April 21, 1932 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  She is the daughter of the late Arthur Morgan Chase and the late Grace Lupient Chase.

Fern was a Christian lady and she was very involved in her church. She enjoyed gardening, hiking and canoeing. She loved to construct different things. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leo Gentes; brothers, Gene Chase, Russell Chase and Jack Chase; sisters, Kayle Chase Hayley, Julie Chase Guiterrez, Paulie Chase Christensen and Jo Pearl Chase Rasmussen.

She is survived by her sons and daughters in law; Lee and Donna Gentes of Acworth, Georgia, Harry and Julie Gentes of Live Oak, Florida, Charles and Pam Gentes of Douglasville, Georgia, and Paul Gentes of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated.  The family will celebrate her life privately at a later date.
