Mrs. Flora Faye Wisner Hunter, age 76 of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019. She was born July 9, 1942, the daughter of the late Mr. Andrew Wisner and the late Mrs. Maggie Greenwood Wisner. Mrs. Hunter retired from The Douglas County Board of Education where she worked as a Media Specialist Aide at Turner Middle School for 23 years. She loved family, flowers, reading, traveling, cooking, and having fun. She was a very loving mom, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Hunter was a member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Gerald Hunter, Sr., grandson, Garrett Hunter; brothers, Robert Wisner, Jim Wisner, Gerald Wisner; sisters, Marie Wisner, Betty McDowell, Linda Cushen, Glenda Cargle. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Cyndi Hunter of Carrollton, Georgia, Cathy and Richard Cheney of Villa Rica; sons and daughter-in-law, David Gerald Hunter, Jr. of Villa Rica, Georgia, Kent and Amy Hunter of Villa Rica, Georgia; sister, Peggy Salg of Lithia Springs; brother, Donald Wisner of Rainsville, Alabama; five grandchildren, Abbie and Lance Duncan, Luke Cheney, Landon Hunter, Maggie Hunter, Ryn Hunter; three great grandchildren, Tucker Duncan, Evie Duncan, Isla Duncan; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Monday, March 18, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Dr. Kevin Williams, Rev. Jeff Powell officiating.
