Mrs. Flossie Magnolia Kuykendall Campbell, age 90, of Whitesburg passed away Friday, December 14, 2018. She was born September 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Mr. John Daniel Kuykendall and the late Mrs. Louvenia Higginbotham Kuykendall. Mrs. Campbell opened and operated the Terrace Square Villas in Douglasville. She enjoyed going to church, singing, working with vacation bible school and helping with the church bus service. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Benjamin Campbell, Jr.; son, Billy Joe Campbell; granddaughter, Julie Ann Wilson Miller; great-grandson, Timothy Ryan Staples; and several sisters and brothers.She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Annie and Horace Tidwell of Whitesburg, Dorothy and James Wilson of Bremen, Cathy Guinn of Temple, Mildred and Hubert Morgan of Tallapoosa; sons, Charles Campbell of Bremen, Roger Campbell of Bremen; sisters and brother-in-law, Jane Edwards of Villa Rica, Essie Jo Hulbert of California, Bessie Mae Schuler of Tallapoosa, Harriet and Bobby Pope of Forsythe; numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the Old Path Baptist Church with Pastor Johnnie Simpson and Dr. Jimmy Lester officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
