Frances Smith

Mrs. Frances Smith McGinnis, age 71, of Villa Rica, passed away, January 25, 2020. She was born February 18, 1948 in Hillsborough County, FL, the daughter of the late Mr. Barney Wright Broxton and the late Mrs. Ruthie Mae King Broxton. She worked for Floyd Brown Cabinets for many years. She loved crafts, going camping in the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Union Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Joy Angela Broxton and Laura Michelle Smith; brothers, James Broxton, Larry Broxton, William Broxton, Jimmy Broxton; sister, Wanda Newsome; grandchildren, Timothy Ray and Christy Ray; son-in-law, Ned Morgan; grandson-in-law, Chad Wallace. She is survived by her husband, Mac McGinnis of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Wendell and Judy Smith of Villa Rica; daughters, Pamela Clay of Carrollton, Candace Smith and Charles Webb of Villa Rica; sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia and Ralph Cheek of Panama City, FL, Deborah Sue Custer of Kentucky; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Cindi Broxton of Fountain, FL, Jerry and Ann Broxton of Panama City, FL, Terry Broxton of Yorkville, Clyde Broxton of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Ashley Clay of Carrollton, Latasha and Andy Kidd of Carrollton, Nicole and Dillion Pierce of Bremen, Amber Smith of Villa Rica, Heather Webb of Villa Rica, Kyle and Amber Webb of Villa Rica, Charles and Calista Webb of Villa Rica, Jamie Stamps of Villa Rica, Russell and Ashley Hembree of Villa Rica; 16 great-grandchildren and three additional on the way; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Lee and Scotty Jarrett.
