Frank Forrest Echols, 95, of Winston, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2026. He was born on December 28, 1930.

Frank lived a long life marked by hard work, devotion, and deep love for those closest to him. He worked as a carpenter for nearly all his life, giving his time and skill to a trade that reflected his steady nature and strong work ethic. In addition to his years as a carpenter, he served as a fireman for nearly 30 years in both Cobb County and the City of Austell, a role that spoke to his courage, commitment, and willingness to serve others.

Frank found joy in the simple and lasting pleasures of life. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and always appreciated a good card game. In his later years, after retirement, he enjoyed traveling and especially loved spending time fishing in Florida. These were some of the moments that brought him happiness and created lasting memories for those who knew and loved him.

Above all else, Frank loved his family dearly. His wife was the apple of his eye and his everything, and that love stood at the center of his life. He will be remembered as a man of dedication, warmth, and enduring affection, whose presence brought comfort and strength to those around him.

Mr. Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Echols; son, David Echols, and a sister, Charlene Williams.

He is survived by his Daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Wisener, Alicia (Tim) Brumbelow, Debbie Echols; Brother, Johnny (Pat) Echols; grandchildren, Shane (Raquel) Wisener, Travis (Megann) Wisener, Amy Timms and John Pope, Bridget (Justin) Carter, Amanda (Jim) Backus, Derek (Amber) Cogland, Dana (Richard) Raines, and Deanna (Tony) Lewis; Twenty great-grandchildren; Ten great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Echols leaves behind a memory that will be cherished with love and gratitude. His life was one of service, loyalty, and deep personal devotion, and he will be remembered with great respect and affection.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 12:00-1:00PM for visitation and funeral services will follow at 1:00PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunrise Gardens of Memories.

Derek Cogland, Shane Wisener, Travis Wisener, Tony Lewis, Richard Raines, and Jim Backus will serve as the pallbearers.
