Mr. Frank Malcolm Boggs, 86, of Carrollton-Villa Rica Highway, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, August 21, 2006 at his residence. He was born December 23, 1919 in Carroll County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Authur Cleveland Boggs and the late Mrs. Bessie Mae Johnson Boggs. Mr. Boggs was a member of Midway Macedonia Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. Mr. Boggs retired after 30 years service from Colonial Bread Company now known as Earth Grains and then his second retirement from McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Company in Villa Rica after 14 years service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boggs was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Kay Ragsdale on June 20, 2006; his brothers, Tom Boggs, Buford Boggs, Howard Boggs and Robert Boggs. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnie E. Wilkens Boggs of Villa Rica; his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Linda Boyd of Eclectic, Alabama; his son-in-law, Larry T. Ragsdale of Villa Rica; his sister, Mary Jo Hendrix; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM from Midway Macedonia Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Jeff Powell officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Lester Parmer, Mike Huckeba, Brian Butler, Chad Bell, Greg Boggs, Andy Howard, Mike Eidson and Tim Johnson. Interment will follow in Midway Macedonia Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM In lieu of flowers, those desiring to so do may make donations In Memory of Mr. Frank Boggs to Midway Macedonia Baptist Church, 3915 Carrollton-Villa Rica Highway, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.
