Frank Redding

Frank Edward Redding Mr. Frank Edward Redding, age 70, of Doraville passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. He was born January 26, 1941 in Villa Rica, the son of the late Mr. Charlie Baskin Redding and the late Mrs. Dorothy Humphries Redding. He worked as a Lab Scientist for the State of Georgia for forty years helping with the mentally challenged and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Redding loved fishing, hunting, Harleys, and collecting rare memorabilia. He is survived by his wife, Joan Redding of Doraville; daughter Denice Kiser of Charlotte, NC; son, David E. Kiser of Boulder, CO; step-daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Lynn and David Berndt of Decatur, Erika and Michael Ryan of Acworth; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Jessice Cooper of Buford, Errol F. and Valeria Boober of Hiram, Eryn and Dana Boober of Villa Rica, Christopher J. and Tina Boober of Hiram; eighteen grandchildren. Several cousins and family members also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Terry Butler and Rev. Don Butler officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Ben Pilgreen. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Friday, September 9, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
