Frantz Bozeman Lipsey

Frantz Bozeman Lipsey, 87, of Temple, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was born on May 23, 1938, the son of the late Paul Lipsey, Sr. and the late Gladys Bozeman Lipsey.

Frantz brought joy and light to everyone he encountered throughout his life. He moved to Douglas County in 1987 and he opened Hydro Irrigation Systems. Frantz served as a member of the Douglas County Homebuilders Association and on the board of directors for WSA for several years. He was a man of many talents, he was not just an extraordinary golfer; he was also a masterful chef who could grill the most delectable food, bringing families and friends together around the table. His love for cooking was matched only by his passion for the arts. He was an amazing painter, who captured the beauty of life through his paintings and artistic ability.

Beyond his hobbies, Frantz was a wonderful husband, father, and companion. He was a devoted friend to many and unwavering support to anyone who needed it. His spirit of generosity and encouragement enriched the lives of countless individuals. Frantz will always be remembered for the laughter he brought into gatherings and the love he infused into everything he did.

As we honor Frantz’s memory, we celebrate the beautiful legacy he leaves behind. His passion for life and his many gifts to the world will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Frantz may have departed from this earthly realm, but his impact will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Lipsey.

He is survived by his wife, Daneda Kay Barnett Lipsey; son, Frantz Lipsey, Jr. (Suzanne) of West Linn, Oregon, Scott Lipsey (Liz) of Reno Nevada; step-son Garrett Cullen (Alice) of Manchaca, Texas; seven grandchildren, Caeman, Audrey, Dashiell, Ashton, Nathan, Enzo and Lia; one niece and one nephew.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated.
