Fred Allen Jackson

Mr. Fred Allen Jackson, 65, of Laurel Grove Rd, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday January 16, 2008 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. Mr. Jackson was born October 18, 1942, in Sylacauga, Alabama. He was the son of the late Milton and Pauline Jackson. Mr. Jackson was of the Baptist faith. He worked in the food industry. He was a fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Tiffany Jackson Survivors include his wife Peggy M. Jackson of Douglasville; daughter and son in-law, Sheryl and James Griffin of Douglasville, son, David A. Jackson of Douglasville; brother and sister in-law, Ronnye E. and Jo Jackson of Sylacauga, Alabama. Three grandchildren, Stephen A. Jackson, Jordan Griffin and Kelyn Griffin all of Douglasville. Two nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Stephen Williams and Minister Mike Mallory officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery in Douglasville, Georgia.
