Mr. Fred Olin Enterkin, age 92, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Friday, May 11, 2012. He was born February 17, 1920 in Villa Rica, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Olin Enterkin and the late Mrs. Clementine Taylor Enterkin. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He married Ruth Charlotte Butler Enterkin on November 29, 1947 in Douglasville. Mr. Enterkin owned and operated Hometown Furniture until his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church Lithia Springs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Charlotte Butler Enterkin; sister, Helen Enterkin and brother, Charles Enterkin. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Keith B. and Brandie Enterkin of Montgomery, Texas; sister, Opal Adams of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, James and Pat Enterkin of Villa Rica; one grandson, Luke Enterkin. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Dr. Marion Beaver officiating.
