Fred Kimble

June 26, 1955 — September 12, 2024

Mr. Fred Kimble of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, after a long battle of Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. He was the beloved husband of Davida Kimble. They shared 51 years of marriage together.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Fred Lee and Mary Nell Kimble. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with his Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics. He was a retired Senior Chief of the US Navy and airplane mechanic of Delta Airlines.

 Dear Dad of Shawn (Jenifer) Kimble and Raquel Cox. Loved Pawpaw of Kylie (Dakota) Kiser, Kegan Cox, Ethan and Bryson Kimble. Brother of Marilee (David) Fisher, Betsy (Doug) Lindsay, Michael (Mary Ellen) Kimble, and the late George, Patricia, and Bobby Kimble.

 Fred loved flying airplanes and working on Mach 1 Mustangs. When he wasn’t cheering on his grandchildren during various sporting events, he would be found fishing or riding his trike. He never let his diagnosis of Parkinson’s slow him down. He will be remembered for quirky senseof humor, and how he sang happy birthday.
