Brother Fred Smith, Jr. 64 of Dallas, Georgia passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He was born October 1, 1949 in Hoffman, OK, the son of the late Fred Smith, Sr. and the late Mrs. Dora Mable Brown Smith. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Thompson Grading. He was an active member of the Gateway Baptist Church and he loved preaching at his church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three grandchildren Survivors include his wife Juanita Wilson Smith of Dallas, three daughters and one son in law, Charlene Campbell, Dolly Marlene Laney, and Joyce M. Campbell and Jason Witt all of Dallas, 3 sons and 2 daughters in law, Fred Christian “Chris” and Tammy Smith of Duluth, John Ashley Smith Bowers of Kansas and Gary Wayne and Brenda Campbell of Talking Rock, sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Michael Dundee of Tulsa, OK, 2 brothers, and sister-in-law, James Smith of Dewar, OK, and David and Carol Smith of Henryetta, OK, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 3:00 PM from the Gateway Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
