Frederick Tucker

Mr. Frederick Paul Tucker, age 76, of Villa Rica, former resident of Lewiston, New York for 42 years, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born September 18, 1938 in Independence, West Virginia the son of the late Mr. Floyd Paul Tucker and the late Mrs. Emma “Patsy” McDaniel Tucker. He retired from Good Year as Maintenance Supervisor after forty years of service. Mr. Tucker spent his summers in Wilson, New York, winters in Okeechobee, Florida, and spring and fall at Fairfield Plantation in Villa Rica, Georgia. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the local Lewiston #2 Fire Hall. Mr. Tucker loved golf, and was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn McGinnis TuckerHe is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Frederick “Fred” A. and Rachel Tucker of Villa Rica; daughter, Tanya N. Foster of Villa Rica; loving companion, Charlotte Lohr of Villa Rica. brother and sister-in-law, Charles A. and Karen Tucker, Sr. of Tallapoosa; four grandchildren, Katlyn Pearl Tucker of Villa Rica, Rebecca Lea Tucker of Villa Rica, Cauy Edwin Foster of Villa Rica, Lane Walker Foster of Villa Rica; one nephew, Charles Andrew and Meredeth Tucker of Villa Rica; one great nephew, Donovan of Villa Rica.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM from West Georgia Memorial Park with Rev. Ricky Shadrix officiating. Entombment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date this summer at Lewiston #2 Fire Hall, 1705 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY. In Lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made to Lewiston #2 Fire Hall, 1705 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
