Gary Charles Defnall

Mr. Gary Charles Defnall, age 60, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Vincent’s East Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born October 23, 1950 in Lithia Springs, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Charles Eugene Defnall and the late Mrs. Ina Lou Smith Defnall. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a Metal Fabricator for Bankhead Welding and Williams Brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mercie Dee Tyson and Doris Simpson. He is survived by his son, Charles Eugene Douglas Defnall of Anniston, AL; sisters and brother-in-law, Cathy Thomas of Douglasville and Linda and James Mezick of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Annette Defnall of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville with Rev. Virgil Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
