Gary Nathaniel McLartyMr. Gary Nathaniel McLarty, age 73, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was born August 23, 1940 in Cedartown, GA the son of the late Mr. William Archibald “Archie” McLarty and the late Mrs. Gertha Dill McLarty. He worked in Law Enforcement for many years and was a Lieutenant.He is survived by his wife, Helen Seals McLarty of Panama City Beach, FL; daughters, Laurie Haney of Villa Rica, Tracey McLarty of Villa Rica; son, Christopher “Chris” Nathaniel McLary of Rockmart; sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Jean Rider of Rockmart, Darnice Delphine and Ellis “Leon” Brownlee of Douglasville; four grandchildren, Christina Traci Leigh McLarty of Nashville, Chelsea Ann McLarty of Temple, Clay Wright of Villa Rica, Ryan Chase McLarty of Villa Rica. Several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Landmon officiating.
