Gary Smith

Mr. Gary Eugene Smith, 70, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016. He was born January 6, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Harry Coggins Smith and the late Mrs. Emma Lee Walton Smith. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He worked as a salesman and was a Christian by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tracy Walton Smith and Randall Smith. He is survived by a nephew, Ryan Smith; niece, Debra and Kevin Livingston; great-nephews and great-nieces, Blake, Hope, Rose, and Claire Livingston; great-great nephew, Julien Livingston (“Jude”); as well as extended family members, including Helen Blair, Judy McDonald, and Gene Blair. In accordance with Mr. Smith’s wishes, he was cremated. No service is planned. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home & Crematory of Douglasville is in charge of arrangements. 770-942-2311
