Gary White

Mr. Gary Wayne White, age 71, of Dallas, passed away, Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was born August 19, 1945 in Milledgeville, GA the son of the late Mr. Edmund Wilson White and the late Mrs. Alice Blanche Yancey White. Mr. White loved fishing, his art work and cooking. He worked in commercial construction for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Wayne White; two grandsons, Joel Osborne and Joshua Tyler Woods. He is survived by his wife, Mary Corley White; daughter, Wendy White of Tallapoosa; step daughters, Malinda and Jimmy Woods of Taylorsville, Melanie and Parris Hitchcock of Aragon, Lana and John Larkin of Rockmart; daughter-in-law, Carolyn White of Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Gary Hudson of South Carolina, Janice Hendricks of Douglasville, Gloria Jackson of Covington, Sylvia Jean and Allen Clearman of Florida, Terri and Marty Eldridge of Douglasville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas White of Florida, Joe White of Florida, David and Wendy White of Hiram; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Don Rackley officiating.
