Mrs. Sandra Gayle Hogue Seabrook, age 72, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born November 25, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Lyman Grant Hogue and the late Mrs. Martha Lois Griswell Hogue. She married Bryant Bailey Seabrook on June 11, 1955 in Atlanta. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hiram and was a homemaker. She was devoted to her family and loved her roles of wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant triplets, James, Charles and Thomas; sisters, Shirley Hogue and Katheryn Sheffield; and brothers, Gene Hogue and Eddie Hogue. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bryant Bailey Seabrook of Douglasville; her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Rodney Carson of Powder Springs, Sandra and Roger Cook of Lithia Springs, and Carol and Ricky Spears of Powder Springs; her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Deborah Seabrook of Douglasville, Charles and Joy Seabrook of Whitesburg, and Grant Seabrook of Douglasville; four sisters and brother-in-law, Melba Bagwell of Hiram, Betty Champion of Fairmount, Norma and Gene Head of Hiram, and Ann Richardson of Centre, AL; brothers, Lee Hogue of Sugarloaf and Carlton Hogue of Lithia Springs; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Rodney Carson officiating.
