General Jordan

Mr. General Perry Jordan, age 80, of Bremen, passed away, Friday, May 22, 2015. He was born November 14, 1934, in Douglas County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. W. H. Jordan and the late Mrs. Stella Neely Jordan. He worked in Construction for a number of years, primarily in Plumbing/HVAC.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Magdalene Stroup; brothers, Hershell H. Jordan, Elbert Jordan, and Paul Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann Henry Jordan of Bremen; daughters, Tammy Gordan of Florida, Tina Ward of Waco, Dawn Jordan of Buchannan; sons, Ricky Jordan of Temple, DeWayne Jordan of Carrollton; step children, Alisha Henry of Villa Rica, James Ward of Bremen, Melissa Cooper of Bowdon, Jennifer Pilcher of Chatsworth; sisters, Mary Sheffield of Douglasville, Louise Mauldin of Powder Springs; brother, Edward Jordan of Temple; eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Timmy Roberts and Rev. J. W. Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family, 485 N. Raburn Road, Bremen, Georgia 30110.
