Genetta Brasington

Mrs. Genetta Haranis Brasington, age 90, passed away at her residence in Temple, GA following an extended illness on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. She was born April 28, 1920 to the late Mr. Harry V. Haranis and Mrs. Elsie Melissa Taylor Haranis. She was a housewife and a retired part-time sales clerk at Rich’s department store. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Dick Millwood of Temple; sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Roseanne Brasington of Powder Springs, Neil and Melynda Brasington of Buchanan; six grandchildren, Lynn and Megan Brasington of Mableton, Sarah Brasington of Boston, MA, Matthew and Kim Millwood of Temple, Michael and Jody Millwood of Kennesaw, Emily and Samantha Brasington of Buchanan; three great-grandchildren, Haley Millwood of Temple, Jesse Millwood of Kennesaw, and Eleanor Brasington of Mableton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 3:00 PM from Meadowbrook Memory Gardens of Villa Rica with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
