Geneva Hill

Miss Geneva Vernelle Hill, 93, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017. She was born April 11, 1924 in Lula, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Young Hill and the late Mrs. Beulah Mae Watson Hill. She was of the Presbyterian Faith. She loved her family dearly and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dessie Mae Payne; and brothers, Charles Emory Hill, Harrison Wiley Hill, and Max Ryland Hill. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville, Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Marcus Miller officiating. The Committal Service will follow the funeral service in the funeral home Chapel. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.
