Geneva Mitchell

Mrs. Geneva Robertson Mitchell, age 87, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in a peaceful state into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Loganville High School. She was employed with AT&T for 36 years before retiring. She attended and was a dedicated member of Heritage Baptist Church as well as a member of The Pioneers Club. She adored her granddog “Addie” who provided her much company and enjoyment. She was preceded in death by her father Benjamin Franklin Robertson; mother Eunice Breedlove Robertson, husband, Paul Burnell Mitchell; brothers William Eugene Robertson and Benjamin Franklin Robertson Jr. She is survived by her son Bobby Bone, daughter in law Penny Bone, grandson Robbie Dippel, niece Penny Robertson and nephews Carter Robertson and Edward Robertson. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Gene Fields officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park in Douglasville.
