George E. Roberts

Mr. George E. Roberts, 74, of Bremen, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. He was born July 9, 1931 in Haralson County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Claude Roberts. Mr. Roberts worked as a plumber for Smith Brothers Home Improvement Company. In addition to his parents, Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Rayburn Roberts. Survivors include his son, Richard Roberts of Bremen; his sister, Wanda Roberts of Colorado; his brother, Billy Roberts of Bremen; and his two grandchildren, Jake E. Roberts and Kenzie Roberts. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Ricky Rayburn and Rev. Andy Wallace officiating Interment will follow at Concord Methodist Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia.
