George Marcano of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on January 27th, 2022 at the young age of 76 in Atlanta, Georgia. He passed peacefully at Wellstar Douglas Hospital surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was born November 18th, 1945 in San Fernando, Trinidad to the late Francis and Angelina Marcano. He was a respected leader at Ultramar in Long Beach, California and Hess in St. Croix USVI. George loved life and took advantage of every opportunity he could to travel the world. George is survived by his siblings, Anthony Alwin, Alexandra, Alexandrina, Lenus, and Monica; former wife, Sandra Marcano (née Soodeen); his children, Andre Marcano, Bernadette Bennett, and Donna Botte; his grandchildren, Naveen, Taylor, Tre, Irisch, Delrene "Chrissy", Sheneka, Elijah, Jah-Maahlik, Miana, Nefertiti, Zahara, Sadiq, and Raheemah; his Great-Grandchildren, Isys, Amarah, Anastasia, Irisch Jr., and Yasin. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Everad Marcano, Joan Marcano, and Margaret Mayers. According to George's wishes, he was cremated.
