George Ronald Stone

Mr. George Ronald Stone, 63, of Lineville, Alabama formerly of Carroll County, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1942 the son of the late Mr. Charles Stone and the late Mrs. Evelyn Dearing Stone. He was a member of Nazarene Baptist Church and was self-employed mechanical engineer. He enjoyed nature and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed antiques. He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Timmons of Villa Rica; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles “Chuck” and Leigh Stone of Douglasville and James and Linda Stone of Boza, AL; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Margie Stone of Roswell, NM; 5 grandchildren, Timothy Stone, Tiffany Stone, Kimberly Stone, Kevin Stone, Will Timmons; 1 great-grandchild, Callie Stone; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Memory Gardens.
