Mr. George Terry Seed, 49, of Chestnut Circle, Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away suddenly Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Newnan Hospital in Coweta County, Georgia as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born September 11, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Swartz, Sr. and the late Mary Madeline Stroup Swartz. He was employed as an ink technician in the manufacturing of printing ink for the Flint Group. In addition to his parents, Mr. Seed was preceded in death by his brother James Swartz, Jr. and his sister, Regina Seed. Survivors include is wife, Mrs. Cindy Phillips Seed of Lithia Springs; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa and Wayne OâShields of Marietta, Judy and Jim Jones of Conyers, Pany McMullen of Jonesboro, Leilani and Mike Jenkins of Douglasville, Gay Henderson of Woodstock and Gina Pace of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Louise Seed of Douglasville; mother-in-law, Marilyn Scott of Columbus; brother-in-law, James Phillips of Douglasville and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Georgia with the Rev. Danny Moody and Rev. Richard Lynn officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
