Georgia Wilson

Mrs. Georgia M. Wilson, age 87, of Villa Rica passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011. She was born February 20, 1924 in Winchester, TN the daughter of the late Mr. George Baker and the later Mrs. Florence Beatrice Russell Baker. She was retired from her private care facility, Wilsons Private Elder Care Center. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed being a part of six generations of family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Harold Wilson; daughter, Joyce Ann Jackson Skinner; brothers, Willard Baker, James Baker, Alfred Baker, Melvin Pete Baker, and Billy Baker. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marie Harper of Villa Rica, Mary L. Tallent of Sturgis, MS, Georgia Fay Easterwood Waldrep and Thomas L. Waldrep of Villa Rica, Barbara and Wayne Thompson of Villa Rica; sons and daughter-in-law, Dwight Jerome Jackson of OK, Arthur F. and Sue Grant of Fort Walton Beach, FL; sister, Ruth Sons of TN; brother, Bobby Baker of Weedowee, AL; thirty grandchildren; seventy one great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Jimmy Post officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
