Geraldine Elizabeth Wilson Tipton

Mrs. Geraldine Elizabeth Wilson Tipton, age 78, of Temple, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at her home. She was born December 31, 1929. She married Dorsen Tipton on July 31, 1950. Mrs. Tipton was a member of Defoor Baptist Church in Atlanta. She was a homemaker and devoted herself to her family. She was a gifted piano player and enjoyed serving the Lord and her church family as a pianist. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dorsen Tipton of Temple; son and daughter-in-law, John and Sheila Tipton of Temple; grandchildren, Jonathan and Sue Tipton, Christina and Nathan Britt, and Courtney Tipton. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM from Meadowbrook Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
