Geraldine Holcombe Beck

Mrs. Geraldine Holcombe Beck, 77, of Villa Rica, Georgia, formerly of Carrollton, passed away Monday, September 4, 2006 at Guardian Angel Assisted Living in Villa Rica, Georgia. She was born May 11, 1929 in Carroll County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Lloyd Holcombe and the late Mrs. Dora Reece Holcombe. Mrs. Beck was a member of Peachtree Baptist Church in Carrollton, Georgia. She was a Master Cosmetologist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Howell Beck. Survivors include her daughter, Patty Beck of Villa Rica; her son, Joseph Howell Beck of Carrollton; her brothers, Walter William Holcombe of Bowdon and Bobby Gene Holcombe of Carrollton; four grandchildren, Chad Weaver, Heather Beck, Reece Curls and Shae Brannon; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Dwayne Word, Libby Thomasson and Shae Brannon officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Alex Hayes and Drs. Larry and Virginia Price. Interment will follow in Veal Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, September 6, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday, September 7, 2006 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour.
