Geraldine Pate

Mrs. Geraldine Epps Pate, age 80, of Powder Springs, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Hiram, Georgia. She was born February 18, 1939 in Decatur, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. James Henry Epps, Sr. and the late Mrs. Jessie Kate Donahue Epps. She worked for Trans Quick as a medical transcriptionist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pate was predeceased by her husband, Charles Thomas Pate and her son, Bill Pate Mrs. Pate is survived by her children, Lindsay and Carlos Wooten of Powder Springs, Georgia, Paul and Mickey Pate of Waverly Hall, Georgia and daughter-in-law, Paula Pate of Bremen; her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Yvonne Epps of Dacula; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. According to Mrs. Pate’s wishes, she was cremated. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at 85 Sweetwater Parkway, Powder Springs, Georgia.
