Gertrude Ivalene "Ivy" Massey Bramlett

Ms. Ivy Bramlett, age 69, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020. She was born in Fulton County, Georgia, the daughter of the late William Mayes Massey, Sr. and the late Clara Jeanell Grogan Massey. She worked in the Douglas County Sheriff's Department in records retention for about 10 years. She also worked for Rollins Pest Control and at Loveable in Atlanta for several years. Ms. Bramlett loved to attend the races at the dirt track. She enjoyed bowling and was a UGA and Falcons football fan. Ms. Bramlett was a member of the Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta. In addition to her parents, Ms. Bramlett's sister, Karen D. Bush passed away five days after her death. Ms. Bramlett is survived by her brother and her sister-in-law, Bill and Brenda Massey of Douglasville; her nieces and nephews, Mayes (Delena) Massey, III, Marty (Dawn) Massey, Ben (Callie) Ridgeway and Jessica Bush of Daytona Beach; 9 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew also survive A private graveside service will be held.
