Mrs. Gladys Inez Haley Miller, 84, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Dallas, Georgia. She was born February 10, 1922 in Haralson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. John Rueben Haley and the late Mrs. Eule Lea Lemon Haley. Mrs. Miller was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. She had worked as a registered nurse at Douglas General Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Haley, Ivey Haley, James Haley and Paul Haley; and her sisters, Narah Hitt, Lucille Miller, Rose Morris and Vesta Cole. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Marlaine Clay of Villa Rica, Melody Pruner of Temple and Lynn and David Cole of Temple; her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Janice Miller of Winston; her sister, Elva Baggett of Paulding County; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM from Harmony Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Musical selections will be provided by The Diplomats. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Miller, Keeley Miller, Corey Cole, John Pruner, David Cole and Anthony Winters. Honorary pallbearer will Jacob Boyd. Mrs. Miller will lie in state at Harmony Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Harmony Grove Baptist Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia.
