Mrs. Gladys Deese Eaves Kidd, 92, of Temple, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 31, 1921 in Buchanan, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Emmett Deese and the late Mrs. Emma Nails Deese. She worked in the textile industry for Bright Star and W. Lenton Howard. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rachard Eaves; grandson, James Jordan; sister, Louise Boyd and brothers, Emmett Deese and Lowell Deese. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Jordan, Marie Turner, and Gallion McElroy all of Temple; one son, William R. Eaves of Villa Rica; four sisters, Aline Brannon of Bremen, Charlotte Vines of Villa Rica, Jewell Gentry of Villa Rica, and Helen Waddell of Bremen; fifteen grandchildren; thirty two great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 14, 2014 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The following will serve as pallbearers: Gene Rodgers, WR Turner, David Eaves, Jonathan Adair, Chris McElroy, and James Turner.
