Glenda Lee Hollis

Glenda Lee Hollis, 73, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was born on July 23, 1949. She is the daughter of the late Glen Norton and the late Billie Lee Norton.

Mrs. Hollis worked as a secretary for the Venetian Blind Company and Levelor Blind Company for many years. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Hollis loved going to the beach, and she loved going to church. She was a faithful pastor’s wife for many years.

Mrs. Hollis is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry Wayne Hollis, Sr.; daughter, Laura (Joey) Stringfield of Villa Rica, Georgia; son, Jerry Wayne (Jessica) Hollis, Jr.; sisters, Martha (Phillip) Williams of Villa Rica, Georgia, Opal (Greg) Rampley of Rome, Georgia, Wanda (Dick) Woods of Dallas, Georgia, Pat Rhodes of Hiram, Georgia, Joan (Mike) Seymour of Temple, Georgia; brother, Roger (Dana) Norton of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Tyler Stringfield, Taylor Stringfield, Brandy Williams; great grandchildren, Brandon Williams, Haley Williams, Joleen Stringfield; best friend of many years, Dianne Woodall; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Pastor Justin Trotter, Pastor Cory Gordon, and Pastor Ricky Bice will be officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park.
