Glenn Ethan Griffin, 41, of Douglasville, Georgia at 9:25 Wednesday morning went peacefully to join his Lord and Savior. He is greeted in heaven by his brother, John and sister, Lisa and will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Robin, his sons, Glenn, Garrett, Justin, Charlie, and Josh, eternally devoted parents Leo and Laverne, brothers, Harvey, Sabastian, and Johnny; his sisters, Dorothy and Dianne, a flock of cousins, aunts, uncles and other friends and loved ones who reluctantly give him up into the care of our Lord. He was employed by U.S. Automotive for a number of years. He was active in Boy Scouts and was a scout leader for his beloved boys. He loved sports, especially Nascar and football. He loved working in his yard or house always striving to do things for his family, this was what was important to him. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Pope Road in Douglasville with Rev. Danny Moody officiating. He will lie in state at the church from 10:30 AM until the funeral hour. Muscial selections will be hymns lovingly dedicated by his parents – “Closer My God To Thee”, “Just As I Am”, and “In The Garden”. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Friday November 10, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
