Gloria Jean Tucker

Ms. Gloria Jean Hackney Tucker, age 69, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was born November 10, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Curtis Dean Hackney and the late Mrs. Flora Ruth Brownlow Hackney. She was a hard worker, who took pride in what she did. Ms. Tucker worked as a receiving clerk in the transportation and logistics industry. Family time, yard sales, and flowers gave her great joy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Hackney. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Michelle (Rusty) Thomas of Villa Rica, Rhonda (Pete) Stevens of Douglasville, Betty (Jody) Eaves of Winston, and Michael (Kathy) Tucker of Douglasville; her sisters, Linda (Ken) Hirsh of Palm Beach, Florida, Valerie (Jerry) Green of Lithia Springs and Becky Radford of Jacksonville, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several nephews.
