Gordie Mae Blalock LovellMrs. Gordie Mae Blalock Lovell, age 92, of Villa Rica, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. She was born May 29, 1921 in Carroll County, GA the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Lee Blalock and the late Mrs. Lola Laura Edwards Blalock. She worked for Jeans Hosiery Mill for many years. Mrs. Lovell was of the Baptist faith.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Lovell, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Charles Beavers of Dallas, Vicky Anderson of Powders Spring, Theresa and Ashraf Abrahim of St. Thomas, U. S. V. I.; sons, Kevin and Mona Lovell of Ogden, Utah, Greg and Paula Lovell of Tallapoosa; seven grandchildren, John Beavers of Dallas, Terri and Dennis Underhill of Dallas, Nichole Lovell of Tallapoosa, Taylor Sherman of Temple, Stephanie Dunn of Dayton, TN, Jason and Latasha Abrahim of Cibolo, TX and Kelli and Bo Hitchcock of Bremen; twelve great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.Graveside Services will be conducted, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with Raymond Cash officiating.
