Gordon Stanford Lee

Gordon Stanford Lee, also known as Gordy, 73 of Winston, GA, formally from Bridgeport NY, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2023. He was born to the late Stanford William Lee and the late Shirley Jean (Gauthier) Lee.

Gordy served with the US Navy during the Vietnam War, he was a retired disabled Veteran.  He especially enjoyed his time spent with his family, traveling and spending time at the beach. His love for being a Harley Davidson rider was a huge joy in his life. He was retired from being auto tech and “body man” but he could accomplish anything.

Gordy is survived by his loving wife and family, Catherine Lasorda Lee, son Gordon Jeffery Lee of Clearwater Fla, daughters, Cindy (Daniel) Kerber of Boonville NY, Kelly (Anthony) Correia of Cicero, NY, step-sons, Daniel Imboden of Groveland Fla, Cody Robinson of Newnan, GA, step-daughter Stephanie Lannigan of Lawrenceville, GA. Brother, Steve (Barb) Lee, sisters Lori (Dave) Somers and Anne Lee, in addition to eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by his brother Terry Lee.

In honor of Gordy’s wishes, he will be cremated. A Military Service to honor his dedication to our country, will take place on August 11, 2023 at 12:30 PM Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA.
