Grace King

Mrs. Grace Landrum King, age 84, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at her residence. She was born July 28, 1925 in Tarrytown, Georgia the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Landrum and Mr. E.L. Allen. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a pioneer of AT&T for many years until she retired. She loved attending church at the Church of God. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward S. King, Sr.; a son Ronald King; three brothers Ross Landrum, William Landrum, Leon Landrum and a sister Eloise Bob. She is survived by a daughter, Melanie King of Marietta; sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Linda King of Rockmart, Michael and Dee King of Douglasville, and Donald King of Smyrna; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Doile King officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
