Mrs. Grace Philips Liles, age 73, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. She was born October 25, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. William A. Philips and the late Mrs. Grace Garrison Philips. She retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company as an Executive Zone Manager. She was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church in Dallas. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping. She was an avid fan of football. She loved to text. Mrs. Liles was a devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Corbitt A. Liles, Sr. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard and Dorese King of Dallas, Tresa Vermette of Douglasville, David and Pam Wood of Cherokee, Danny and Sandy Liles of Douglasville, David Liles of Douglasville, Corbitt Liles, Jr. of Hampton, and Steve and Marthalynn Thompson of Douglasville; grandchildren, Mike OâKelley, Jr., Chelsie King, Chad Vermette, Christopher Vermette, Saragrace Wood, David M. Wood, Tina Wood, Tabitha Wood, Daniel Liles, Christy Gunter, Samantha Honea, Stephanie Honea, Eric Liles, and Cameron Liles; great-grandchildren, Dakotah King, Jorja Wood, Corey Shaw, Devin Shaw and many more also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Ott officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, October 4, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
