Gracie Cooper

Mrs. Gracie Nell Storey Cooper, age 85, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was born August 19, 1932 in Brandon, Mississippi the daughter of the late Mr. James Woodey Storey and the late Mrs. Ethel Mae Anthony Storey. She was an Instructor with the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Carrollton. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and playing the piano while her children sang along. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Luther Earl Cooper. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Marie Annette and Robert Richardson of Carrollton and Georgette Shedd Cooper of Fairburn; sons and daughters-in-law, James Willis and Karen Cooper of Carrollton, David Earl and Sandy Cooper of Maryland, and Phillip Lorenz Cooper of Carrollton; sister and brother-in-law, Robbie and Greg Locke of Texas; 13 grandchildren, Micah Cooper, Chelsea and Tim Shiff, Kelly Walker, Kristie Murphy, Christopher Earl and Jessica Cooper, Alisha and Kenny Brubaker, Chris and Amy Bond, Amanda and Chris Paul, Leslie and Jordon Seda, Jacob and Erika Cooper, Tasha Howell, Shannon and Travis McGrew, and Caitlyn Cooper; 28 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, October 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Mike Lowry officiating.
