Mr. Grady Graham Anderson, Sr., age 86, of Douglasville, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. He was born May 2, 1927 in Bear Poplar, NC the son of the late Mr. Marshall Anderson and the late Mrs. Nannie Mae London Anderson. He served in the United States Navy and worked in construction. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marshall “Shorty’ Anderson, Richard “Dick” Anderson; sisters, Ethel Ervin, Marylou Waddell, Margaret Brown and Kathlene White. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Duncan Anderson of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Tangie and Ricky Norman of Villa Rica; sons and daughter-in-law, Grady Graham Anderson, Jr. of Winston, Wally and Kelly Anderson of Douglasville; sisters and brother-in-law, Edith Shulenburger of NC, Martha and Bill Graham of Mooresville, NC; five grandchildren, Grady Graham ‘Trey” Anderson, III of Villa Rica, Wesley Joel Anderson of Villa Rica, Selleck Adam and Jody Anderson of Villa Rica, Alyssa Marie and Dustin Reed of Douglasville, Tangela Faye Norman of Villa Rica; seven great-grandchildren, Mason Anderson of Villa Rica, Braxton Anderson of Villa Rica, Ella Anderson of Villa Rica, Braelyn Anderson of Villa Rica, Stella Anderson of Villa Rica, Anslee Reed of Douglasville and Rileigh Ziruolo of Villa Rica. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday, March 10, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, March 10, 2014 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Marbut officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Navy Funeral Honors. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
