Grady Boyd Farr

Mr. Grady Boyd Farr, 73, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Farr was born January 25, 1934 in Villa Rica, Georgia; the son of the late John Guy Farr and the late Era Eleanor Boyd Farr. Mr. Farr was employed with ABF Freightlines for over 30 years as a truck driver. Mr. Farr was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Bethany Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hendrix Farr, and brother, Lewis Farr. Survivors include his brothers and sister in-law, Raymond and Josie Farr of Carrollton, and Charles Farr of Waco; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Hubert Carroll and Rev. Jimmy Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Friday, December 28, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
