Grady Post

Mr. Grady Henry Post, Jr., age 87 of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was born March 28, 1932 the son of the late Mr. Grady H. Post, Sr. and the late Mrs. Maudie Bell Worthan Post. He loved fishing, building things, gardening, he was the Jack of all trades. Mr. Post served our country in the Army and was in the Korean War. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Mae Post; son, Julian Henry Post; brothers, Luther Post, Robert Post. Mr. Post is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Scott Wood of Albany, Oregon, Sheila Harrell of Lithia Springs, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Charles Nelson of Kennesaw, Georgia, Nadine and Kenneth Bruce of Acworth, Georgia; brothers, Jimmy Post of Marietta, Georgia, Raymond Post of Marietta, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; special friends, Clyde Hale and Calby Haught; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM. From the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. James Monroe Post and Rev. Gene Fields officiating.
