Mr. Grady Rodney Roach, age 60 of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born June 2, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Grady E. Roach and the late Mrs. Rosa Morgan Boyd. Mr. Roach was a graduate of North Atlanta High School, and attended the University of Wisconsin where he played basketball on a full scholarship. He received his bachelors in psychology from Clark Atlanta University. He was a very loving father and loved his family very much. Mr. Roach later coached high school basketball and worked with special education children where he touched many hearts and lives. He had a great sense of humor, a big smile, and always loved to laugh.
Mr. Roach is survived by his wife of 14 years, Mrs. Monica Ingrid Olier-Toloza of Douglasville, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Kirstyn Lia and Elmer Miranda of Rockville, Maryland; sisters and brother-in-law, Marcia and Horace Cosby, Cynthia Turner, and Wanda Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Ismael Guzman and Carolina Beltran of Bogota, Colombia; close friends, Roderick Twyman of Georgia, Constance Arnold of Georgia; and many beloved nieces and nephews. His kind and loving soul will always be remembered.
Private Memorial Services will be conducted Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville. Services will be live streamed.
