Gregory Gibson

Mr. Gregory Wayne Gibson, Sr, age 74, of Villa Rica, passed away, Sunday, June 16, 2019. He was born August 7, 1944 in Lebanon, OH the son of the late Mr. George William Gibson and the late Mrs. June Stubbs Gibson. Mr. Gibson was a Conductor for the Railroad for many years where he retired from Southern Railways. He owned and operated Cloverleaf Gameroom in Douglasville, GA. for many years. He was a man of strong faith and a family man who was loving and kind. He was a nature and outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed deer hunting and watching old westerns. He was an avid traveler and loved to visit casinos. He is survived by his loving wife, Geneva Jones Gibson; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Carl Pinkert of Auburn, AL; daughter, Karen Janes of Douglasville, GA; daughter, Rebecca Randall of Douglasville, GA; son, Greg Gibson, Jr. of Douglasville, GA; sister, Gretchen Carson of Yorkville, GA; grandchildren, Katie Claire Pinkert and Grant Norman Pinkert; his fur baby, Casey Gibson; and many extended family members and adopted Cloverleaf Gameroom children also survive. The family will receive friends and relatives at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home & Crematory in Douglasville, Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
