Greig Thomas Sewell

Greig T. Sewell, age 69, of Douglasville, GA., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 11, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born in Douglasville, GA on April 13, 1957 to the late David Eugene (Gene) Sewell and the late Ann Leathers Sewell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Sewell, Michael Sewell and Brian Sewell.

Greig attended Douglas County High School and Valdosta State University, and had recently retired after a 49-year career at Owens-Corning Fairburn facility, most recently as an Electrical Planner.

Greig loved golf (even with his wife), all vintage cars and always had a convertible in the driveway.

Greig is survived by his wife Donna Sewell, daughter, Alyson Kilthau, step-daughter Lexia (Jeff) Lee, brother, Alan (Linda) Sewell of Douglasville, and sister Gina (Bill) Kagle of Lithia Springs.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jones Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, GA with a private family service at a later date.
