Gunner Ray Mitchell Gunner Ray Mitchell, age 13, of Villa Rica passed away October 12, 2011 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. He was born February 12, 1998 in Austell, the son of Mr. John Ray Mitchell and Mrs. Kimberly Dawn Patterson. Gunner loved University of Georgia football, Spiderman, dinosaurs, bull riding, big trucks, motorcycles and most of all loved to wave at people while cutting the grass. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry Hearing and Jack Patterson. He is survived by his mother and father, John Ray Mitchell and Kimberly Dawn Patterson of Villa Rica; maternal grandparent, Betty Hearing of Villa Rica; paternal grandparents, Darlene and Glenn Rhodes of TX, James and Gene Mitchell of Douglasville; paternal great grandparents, Darlene Donnell Yates of TX, Raymond and Martha Mitchell of East Point. Eleven aunts, nine uncles, cousins and extended family also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Friday, October 14, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
